    1. Melody,
If I remember who I learned this format from, I will add it in the introduction, but yesterday I realized I had forgotten to make a note of who was my inspiration for this format from a week or so ago.

      Thanks,
      Denise

  1. All are teachers, all are learners…what a great cap to a great month of learning for all of us.

      1. Thanks, Aileen! Yes, I want to learn and prepare more games for my Breakout box. It hasn’t had enough action this year!

  2. You have taken Currently, a format I love, to a whole new level here- very fun! I have had a Breakout box for more than a year now and I really MUST use it. I would love to hear how it goes. I know I will need to use someone else’s format to start, but good for you to be making one of your own.

    1. Thanks, Erika. I am a beginner too, with the Breakout box. This is my first attempt at making my own, I’m trying to use content we are learning in English class for the puzzles for more practice. I don’t want to make it too academic though.

Our favorite game, which would be great for your grade 3’s, is “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” made by Patti Harju. It’s available on the games website. You and your students will love the Breakout games!

  3. I seem to be browsing at random here as I work to catch up on my blogging efforts. During this first few moments I have read two of your blog posts from the club and have enjoyed them so much. I love your writing style and the beautiful pictures in both of the posts so far. After the last two weeks that we have had at school, I really needed the peace that you have offered here.
    Thank you for sharing!

    1. Oh, Rachel, your kind words mean a lot to me. Thank you so much for reading. It’s humbling, and I’m glad it was what you needed that day. I’ve had a really busy last few weeks as school closed, and now I’m enjoying some of that peace.
