  1. Immediately my attention is drawn to “Bahrain’s new bans, Covid numbers.” Will this pandemic ever end? This news is too much. Funny how that one detail overshadows so much. All these little snippets make for a full day. The dough can wait.

    1. Yes, it is heart-wrenching with so many people sick and dying. We are in our greatest peak since this thing started. With so many friends with people in India, those consolation phone calls happen almost daily. Thank you, Glenda.

  2. This was a fascinating format, one I had not seen before. I loved reading your snippets.

  3. Wherever we live, our days are similar in many ways. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Lakshmi, I read it again and imagined some of the things you were doing in India that would probably be similar. It was fun thinking about you!

  4. I love the tiny structure – time and then three lines – action words and lots of food words!
You showed us so much in a tiny structure! Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you, Sally! Yes it did surprise me that the post was about 250 words. I thought I covered a lot of my day in such a few words.

  5. Denise, you have inspired me to try this technique – – short snippets along a timeline. I’m finishing a dog voice series, and I may integrate some of this form into their weekly voice journal. My favorite: 8:25
    Made oatmeal on stove
    Added mashed banana and
    Splashed with almond milk

I love this because I, too, am an oatmeal girl with mashed banana and almond milk. I connected from Zebulon, GA to Bahrain with you on this single solitary verse this morning. I love your snippets of your day!

    1. Oh, that’s so interesting! It is definitely my favorite go-to breakfast. Sometimes I like cold cereal too, but this one goes to the top. I’ll look forward to reading your dog voice series when it’s ready!

  6. It am always amazed at the variety of formats found here! This was inspiring. Amazing how we can communicate in such differing yet similar ways.

  7. Great job filling us in with the many parts of your day in such a creative format, Denise.
